SEN Teacher - Dover

Are you a passionate and resilient teacher who believes in the power of relationships, structure and consistency to change young lives?

A specialist SEMH school in Dover is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their KS1 & 2 team and support pupils who require a nurturing, trauma-informed and therapeutic approach to education.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a setting where behaviour is understood as communication and where every child is supported to re-engage with learning, build emotional regulation and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: SEN Teacher
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEMH needs
  • Create a calm, structured and predictable learning environment
  • Use restorative and trauma-informed approaches to support behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Work closely with support staff, therapists, SENCOs and families
  • Track progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - Essential

Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students

130 - 200 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only
