Job description
Overview

Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout the UK. We provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support, and individuals with SEND.

We are currently looking for a Tutor with Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent to provide KS1-KS4 Maths and English support on a 1:1 basis who is not currently accessing mainstream education. The students have a diagnosis of Autism and ADHD and, as they have been out of education for some time, require support with their core subjects, Maths and English, at a lower level. The tutor will assess current ability and reintroduce education into their routine while a suitable school provision is found. Lessons will take place either in a local Library or the young person’s home.

Due to the nature of the students we provide support to, applicants must hold QTS and have a background and strong understanding of SEN.
