Job summary

A leading education recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Intervention Tutor in Nottingham to provide 1:1 and small-group support to secondary students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with learners with special educational needs and a strong understanding of the KS3/KS4 curriculum. This position requires the ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to individual student needs and to work collaboratively with parents and professionals to enhance student engagement and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience working with students with SEN including ASD, ADHD and SEMH needs.
• Strong understanding of the KS3/KS4 curriculum and differentiated teaching strategies.
• Ability to build positive, professional relationships with young people.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, personalised sessions in Maths and English.
• Support the development of communication, social skills, and emotional regulation.
• Promote positive behaviour and independence.
