Job summary

A UK educational staffing agency is looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a vibrant school in Greenwich. The role is full-time from Monday to Friday, where you will lead small group work and cover lessons. Candidates must hold a recognised HLTA qualification or a Level 4 child-related qualification and have experience in a Secondary school setting.

HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) - Greenwich

Location: Greenwich

Start Date: ASAP start

Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday) 8.30am until 3.30pm

Responsibilities

• Lead small group work and cover lessons in the teacher's absence as required.

Qualifications

• A recognised HLTA qualification or a Level 4 or above child-related qualification
• Previous experience supporting learning within a Secondary school setting
• Strong communication skills and a flexible, proactive approach
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development as an HLTA

Please note: If you hold only a Level 2 or Level 3 child-related qualification, you will not be considered for this HLTA role. However, we would still love to hear from you regarding Teaching Assistant opportunities in Greenwich and surrounding areas.
