Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, multi-sensory lessons tailored to the needs of pupils aged 2–19 with severe learning difficulties.
  • Manage and inspire a team of teaching assistants within your class.
  • Collaborate with middle and senior leaders to design and implement a rich, inclusive curriculum.
  • Build strong relationships with families and carers to support holistic development.
  • Take part in school-wide activities such as parent evenings, open days, and community events.
  • Continue to develop your skills in communication methods (Makaton, PECS, AAC), behaviour management, and SEND best practice.
