Hybrid role

Location : Leeds

Up to 35K (DOE)

We are working with a small, friendly and growing accountancy practice based in Leeds, known for its supportive culture and collaborative working environment. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint a Semi‑Senior or Senior Accountant who is confident, motivated, and keen to take ownership of their work.

This is a varied, hands‑on role offering genuine flexibility, great benefits, and the opportunity to grow alongside the firm.

The Role

You will be responsible for a broad range of accounts and tax duties, including :

  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns
  • Managing accounts and maintaining your own client portfolio
  • Bookkeeping duties
  • Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns
  • Year‑end accounts and year‑end tax returns
  • Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships
The Ideal Candidate
  • AAT Level 4 qualified
  • 4+ years’ experience within UK accountancy practice
  • Confident, independent, and able to hit the ground running
  • Comfortable managing their own workload and client relationships
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ambitious and keen to develop with a growing firm
  • The firm is happy to train and support the right individual
