SEMH Teaching Assistant

Location: Luton

Pay: £460-£500 per week

We are looking for a caring, motivated, and enthusiastic SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Luton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health needs and is keen to develop a career within education and training.

The Role:

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will support students who may experience challenges such as anxiety, low self-esteem, behavioural difficulties, trauma-related needs, attachment issues, and social interaction challenges. You will play a key role in helping pupils manage their emotions, build resilience, develop positive relationships, and remain engaged in their learning.

You will work closely with teachers and inclusion staff to create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment where every student feels supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.
