Your Role:

As a Security Officer covering Warton & Salmesbury you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the sites staff visitors and assets. You will conduct regular patrols manage access control monitor security systems and respond to incidents promptly. A key part of the role will involve significant walking so being physically fit is essential.

Detailed Job Duties:

• Patrols: Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols across the Warton and Salmesbury sites to ensure all areas are secure checking for any signs of unauthorized access or security breaches.
• Access Control: Manage entry points by checking IDs issuing visitor passes and enforcing site access procedures.
• Surveillance: Monitor CCTV feeds identifying suspicious activity and responding swiftly to any incidents.
• Incident Response: Quickly and effectively respond to security incidents emergencies and alarm activations.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of incidents breaches and unusual activities ensuring reports are completed in a timely and professional manner.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures creating a safe and secure environment for all staff and visitors.
• Equipment Checks: Regularly inspect security equipment such as alarm systems and CCTV to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Driving: You will need to have access to your own vehicle to travel between Warton and Salmesbury sites efficiently.
• Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer service while ensuring security procedures are followed at all times.
