Healthcare Security Manager

Salary: Up to £50,000 Per Annum

Location: Edmonton, London

About the Role

Do you hold a valid frontline SIA Licence and want a role beyond traditional security? Are you looking for a rewarding leadership position where you can genuinely make a difference to patient, visitor, and staff safety?

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage Healthcare Security Supervisors and Officers
  • Liaise confidently with clients, police, and multiple stakeholders
  • Support incident response, investigations, and post-incident reviews
  • Manage rotas, payroll, appraisals, and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to NHS, CQC, SIA, and relevant legislative requirements
  • Support clinical teams with de-escalation and, where necessary, patient restraint
  • Oversee CCTV operations (funded licence available if required)
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment across hospital grounds
About You

You will be:

  • Passionate about patient, staff, and visitor safety
  • A confident leader in high-pressure healthcare environments
  • Skilled in communication, empathy, and verbal de-escalation
  • Comfortable working with vulnerable individuals and those in distress
  • Knowledgeable (or willing to learn) NHS security standards, Mental Health Act, and counter-terrorism requirements
  • Computer literate and highly organised
  • Flexible to meet business needs
