Key Job Responsibilities
  • Build and manage services that detect and mitigate cybersecurity threats across Amazon’s infrastructure.
  • Work with data scientists, software development engineers, and other security engineers across multiple teams to develop innovative security solutions.
  • Use AWS technologies to build services that protect AWS customers from security threats.
  • Work in a team of industry‑leading security experts with UK customers to operate and continuously improve security programs and processes.
  • Manage underlying security programs and processes for personnel security, physical and logical accreditations, education, awareness and training, assurance, and cyber security.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar object‑oriented language.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS products and services.
  • Experience with threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration and network security.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++.
