Role Title: Permanent/Long-Term Secondary School Teacher Location: New Forest, Hampshire. Contract Type: Permanent / Long-Term. Start Date: January 2026. Salary: £32,916 to £51,048

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary School Teacher to join our team on a permanent or long-term basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students aged 11–16 (or 11–18, depending on school), fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and contributing to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practices.
  • Participate in school events, parent evenings, and extracurricular activities.
  • Uphold school policies and contribute to the school’s ethos and values.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching at secondary level (KS3 and KS4; KS5 desirable).
  • Strong subject knowledge in your subject.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable
