Job Title: Secondary School Teacher
Location: Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire
Salary: Paid to scale
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Day-to-Day / Long-Term

GSL Education is currently recruiting Secondary School Teachers across a range of subjects to work with partner secondary schools in Scunthorpe. We welcome applications from experienced teachers, ECTs, and teachers returning to the profession who are seeking flexible or longer-term opportunities.

Role Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 where applicable).
  • Follow lesson plans or adapt teaching to meet the needs of learners.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote positive learning environments.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback when required.
  • Work collaboratively with department staff and senior leadership.
  • Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies at all times.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
  • A flexible, professional, and reliable approach to work.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
