Secondary Teacher – Location: Newport, Wales

Pay Range: £172.98 - £238.95 P/D

We support multiple high-achieving and well-supported secondary schools across Newport who have a strong reputation for academic excellence and student wellbeing. We're looking for Secondary Teachers that we can supply to these schools on supply, short term and a long term basis to ensure that their pupils receive strong continuous education.

The Role Secondary Teacher

You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, supporting student progress through assessment and feedback, and contributing to the wider school community. You may also take on form tutor responsibilities and be involved in enrichment or pastoral initiatives. This role is perfect for someone passionate about their subject, confident in classroom leadership, and committed to inclusive and inspiring teaching.

Role Requirements Secondary Teacher
  • Hold QTS or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable)
  • Be confident in behaviour management and classroom leadership
  • Use differentiated strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Maintain professional standards at all times
  • Have a clear passion and enjoyment for teaching
  • Be adaptable, reflective, and collaborative in their teaching approach
  • Be flexible and available for work (1-5 days a week)
