Cover Supervisor (Unqualified Teacher) – Secondary Schools around Cotham

Pay:£95–£140 per day
Contract:Day-today and long term available

You do not need to be a qualified teacher; if you have done youth work, mentoring, or been in a role involving leadership or guidance, then you have the transferable skills needed for the role. What you'll be doing:

• Stepping into lessons across a range of subjects (no lesson planning required)
• Delivering pre-set work and keeping students engaged
• Managing behaviour in a calm, confident way, communicating with warmth and consistency
• Building quick rapport with students, keeping relationships encouraging, professional and productive

Experience that works well in this role:

• Sports coaching or youth work– if you can manage a football team, you can manage a class
• Teaching Assistant or Learning Mentor experience– already familiar with the school atmosphere? Even better
• Delivering presentations to large groups, particularly of children/teens
• Drama, tutoring, Scouts/Guides leadership– anything that involves leading, guiding, and keeping young minds focused
