Overview

To be a Seasonal Sales Assistant at The Entertainer you must be reliable and flexible in what hours you can work (there may be the chance of extra hours too if we\'re busy), approachable and confident to deliver excellent customer service, and physically fit to move stock around the store, work with deliveries and pallets, and assist in our local Tesco concession space. Merchandising, keeping the shelves full, talking to customers and handling deliveries are part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable and flexible hours as needed, with the possibility of extra hours during busy periods.
• Deliver excellent customer service, being approachable and confident with customers.
• Move stock around the store and assist with deliveries and pallets, both independently and as part of a team.
• Support merchandising and keep shelves full; engage with customers and assist with deliveries in the store and concession area.

Key Information

Rates of Pay: 16-20 year olds - £11.15 per hour; 21-year-old plus - £12.36 per hour. Contract end date: 3rd January 2026. Our stores are open 7 days a week, so you will need to be able to support us at weekends including Sundays.

Hours available for this store include:

• 12-hour per week contract: 4-hour shifts over 3 days, or two 6-hour shifts
• 8-hour per week contract: typically 4-hour shifts over 2 days, or one full day
• 20-hour per week contract: typically 4-hour shifts over 5 days

If you are flexible to work various shifts (including evenings and different days of the week), have a great attitude and friendly personality, we can arrange hours that suit you and the business; please provide as much detail as possible in your application. There may also be opportunities for extra hours depending on trade. All Seasonal Sales Assistant contracts include the requirement to work Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Year\'s Eve, which are among the busiest days of the year.
