Job summary

A local authority based in Hedon is seeking applicants for seasonal Grounds Maintenance positions starting on 16 March 2026. Qualifications

• Suitable level of fitness to cope with physical demands of job.

Responsibilities

• Undertake work on green space and street scene activities.
• Grass cutting, strimming, and hedge cutting.
• Planning, design, and planting of flower beds.

Skills

Ability to walk for a minimum of 5 hours a day

Capability to use own initiative

Experience driving grounds maintenance machinery
