Overview

We are working with a leading ladies fashion buying house in London, seeking a skilled Sealer Grader to join their growing team. With experience across all product categories, they pride themselves on delivering innovative, trend-led solutions at speed. If you're passionate about fashion and detail-driven, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and creative team.

Responsibilities
  • Pattern Sealing and Grading - Finalise patterns to production-ready standards and accurately grade across multiple sizes while preserving fit, proportions, and technical integrity.
  • Technical Specifications & Documentation - Produce detailed tech packs and spec sheets, including size charts, production notes, and seam allowances, and prepare Excel-based workbooks for production accuracy.
  • Tech Pack Interpretation - Convert tech packs into workable garment designs, ensuring alignment with design intent and production requirements.
  • Quality Control - Ensure all graded patterns meet technical and aesthetic standards before production to prevent delays or issues.
  • Fit Sessions - Participate in fitting sessions, assessing prototypes and making technical adjustments for fit, construction, and sizing.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration - Work closely with design, production, and technical teams to maintain accuracy and consistency throughout the process.
  • Attention to Detail - Maintain high standards of quality across all deliverables, ensuring timelines and brand requirements are met.
Person Specification
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrates advanced skills in Illustrator for technical drawings and Excel for size specs, grading charts, and production data.
  • Experience in working across all the ladieswear product categories.
  • Able to manage workload independently, meet tight deadlines, and remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Self-motivated but also a great leader.
  • A people person with excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workload.
