The Role

At AMS, we're always looking for ways to develop and enhance our services, and our Service Enablement function is no different. We're currently recruiting a Scrum Business Analyst to support the development of new and existing services.

This role offers you the chance to build your skills and grow into a subject matter expert in one of our key growth areas. Key Accountabilities

As a Scrum Business Analyst within our Service Enablement function, you will be responsible for:

What you'll be doing

• Providing analytical support for feature development.
• Proactively investigating and assessing issues, trends, and insights, offering clear recommendations to the team.
• Collaborating with other business units to deliver effective business solutions.
• Supporting the creation, refinement, and management of User Stories.
• Assisting with the testing of services and processes.
• Supporting Delivery Management in sharing updates on roadmap items and timelines, ensuring clear communication between Technology, Strategy, and Operational teams.
• Leading Scrum ceremonies, including stand-ups, refinements, and poker planning.
• Communicating information at varying technical levels to suit different stakeholders.
• Understanding and supporting the achievement of operational performance metrics.
• Compiling and reporting insights from defect reports and helping to drive associated action plans.

Skills & Experience

You’ll Need to Demonstrate

• Experience as a Business Analyst within an Agile development team.
• Experience leading Scrum ceremonies.
• Familiarity with backlog management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) and system modelling tools (e.g., Visio).
• Proven ability to define and refine backlog items.
• Experience understanding customer needs and translating them into business requirements.
• Strong decision-making and project management skills, with the ability to resolve complex problems independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
