Science Teacher/Technician - Full-Time - Kettering - October 2025 Start

Are you a passionate Science Teacher or an experienced Science Technician looking for a new opportunity in a supportive and forward-thinking school environment?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a secondary school in the Kettering area, seeking either a Science Teacher or a Skilled Science Technician to join their team from October 2025. This is a great opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about science education and wants to make a real impact on students' learning.

The Role
  • Full-time position starting in October 2025
  • Open to both qualified Science Teachers and experienced Science Technicians
  • Teaching science across KS3 and KS4 (for teachers)
  • Supporting practical lessons, preparing resources, and maintaining lab equipment (for technicians)
  • Contributing to a well-resourced and collaborative science department
The Ideal Candidate Will
  • Be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) OR have strong experience as a science technician in a school or lab setting
  • Have a genuine interest in science education and student development
  • Be organised, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Have good knowledge of health and safety procedures in a lab environment
  • Be available to start in October 2025 (or sooner)
