Job Title: Science Technician

Location: Westminster, Central London

Pay: £110 - £130 per day

Contract: Full-time (Monday to Friday), January 2026 - July 2026

Science Technician – Westminster Secondary School | January 2026

A high‑achieving secondary school in Westminster is seeking an experienced Science Technician to provide laboratory support from January 2026, on a full‑time basis.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating practical science preparation across departments
  • Supporting Biology, Chemistry, and Physics teachers
  • Overseeing lab safety, COSHH compliance, and risk assessments
  • Ordering and managing equipment and chemical stock
  • Mentoring junior technicians (where applicable)
Successful Candidate Will Have
  • Previous experience as a Science Technician in a secondary school
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory safety procedures
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
