Essential Profile
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold QTS or a comparable teaching qualification recognised in the UK.
  • Subject Knowledge: A relevant degree in a Science-related discipline, with strong subject knowledge across all three sciences up to GCSE level.
  • Curriculum Experience: Proven experience teaching the UK Science curriculum in a secondary school setting.
  • Safety Conscious: A solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations within a school laboratory environment.
  • Communication: Excellent ability to build rapport with students and explain complex ideas clearly.
  • Compliance: Possession of an Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one promptly).
