Overview

Role: Science Teacher

Start: January

Location: West London

Contract: Full time

Salary: £190 - £300 per day

Science teacher required for a high-achieving all-girls school in Central London. The school are looking for a Science teacher who can teach Science across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The post will be offered on a full-time basis to start in January.

The school boasts high academic standards and achieves exceptional results. It has a prestigious reputation and is an excellent place to work for both students and staff.

School Information

This is an outstanding all-girls school based in the heart of London. The school has an academic history of excellence and modern facilities. The school is over-subscribed and has a strong reputation within the local community. Pupil behaviour is excellent and the SLT team is approachable and supportive. The latest Ofsted Report (Oct 2022) judges the school to be outstanding in all areas.

GCSE and BTEC results 2024 have remained high and exceeded the summer 2023 Teacher Assessed Grades, reflecting the quality of teaching and support provided by staff and the engagement of students and parents.

GCSE pass grades 9-4 was 96.9% in 2024, compared with 73% national average. GCSE grades 9-7 was 62%, compared with 26% nationally. The school has a record of placing a large number of 6th form students into Oxbridge and has awards for being in the top 10% of non-selective schools nationally for KS5.
