  • Working Hours: 16 hours a week, two days a week (Thursday - Friday) 8am-4.30pm (with 30 minutes unpaid for lunch) 39 weeks a year (term time plus inset days)
  • Purpose of Role: To provide a school nursing service and work closely with the pastoral team to promote the physical and mental health of all students by providing effective and high quality early intervention alongside a preventative programme of advice and support. The school nurse supports student success by providing health care through assessment, intervention, and follow-up for all children within the school setting. The school nurse addresses the physical, mental, emotional, and social health needs of students and thereby supports their achievement, providing an immediate safety net for chronically ill students in addition to promoting a healthy school environment.
