Gresham's School have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly organised health and safety officer to join the team.

Gresham's is seeking to appoint an experienced and highly organised individual into the role of Health and Safety Officer. The role involves responsibility, through the Head of Estates, for ensuring that the School complies with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and other education‑specific mandated requirements (e.g. Education (Independent School Standards) Regulations 2014 or National Minimum Standards for Boarding).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor the school's safety regime.
• Deliver or organise health and safety training of staff.
• Maintain meticulous record keeping to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all relevant legislation.
• Execute safeguarding responsibilities as outlined in the recruitment pack.
