A local community school in Shrewsbury is seeking volunteer governors to make a positive difference to local children. Responsibilities include setting strategic direction, holding leaders accountable, and overseeing financial management. This is a voluntary role, and no prior education experience is necessary. Interested candidates are encouraged to contact the School Business Manager via email.

We’re especially keen to hear from people with experience in finance, HR, safeguarding/SEND, legal, estates, IT/data, or marketing/communications, but this is not essential.
This is a voluntary role. All governors complete statutory safeguarding (DBS) checks. You do not need to be a parent.
