School Cleaner - Worksop

Academics, an established Education Agency, is recruiting a School Cleaner on a supply basis across the Worksop area. This temporary role offers flexible, part‑time hours within local schools.

Role

As a School Cleaner, you will work on an ad‑hoc supply basis and be assigned to schools as required. The job normally consists of a couple of hours per day, either:

• Morning: 6:00am – 8:00am
• Afternoon: 3:30pm – 5:30pm

Duties will include general cleaning of classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas, ensuring schools are clean, safe and hygienic for pupils and staff.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following:

• A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Health & Safety training
• COSHH training
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and correct use of cleaning products
• Ability to commute across Worksop as work may be across multiple sites
• A reliable, flexible and professional approach to working in school environments

Details

• Pay rate: £13.68–£14.00 per hour, inclusive of réalise holiday pay and dependent on experience
• Contract type: Temporary, supply‑based role
• Hours will vary according to school requirements
