Establishments: Schools Care & Nursing homes Retirement villages and nurseries.

Contract type: Temporary - some contracts may lead to permanent after successful period.

Hourly rate / Salary: £17p / h - £20 p / h

Part time: suitable for chefs looking to pick extra hours around their current job or commitments

Full time: suitable for chefs looking for full time work with the option of flexible work too.

Job Overview

We are currently looking to recruit several Enhanced DBS Cooks and chefs of all levels to support our clients in and around Derby and Derbyshire. You will be supporting Schools & Nurseries ready for school term restarting back in January 2026! Along with any retirement villages, care home and Nursing homes environments.

Responsibilities

• Support schools, nurseries, retirement villages, care homes and nursing homes as they recruit for vacancies, handle sickness and absences, and ensure kitchens are fully staffed.
• Serve food to residents and children in these settings.
• Work for several contract catering environments based within the Derbyshire areas.
