A leading education organization is seeking a skilled School Business Administrator for a new school in Bristol. You will manage all administrative tasks, support the head teacher, and have a key child-centered role. The position offers professional supervision and development opportunities, focusing on safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Holidays are to be taken during school breaks, adhering to local authority guidelines.
We are looking for a School Business Administrator to join our education administration team. This role will be based in our Brand-new school, Sky Vale, based in Redhill, Bristol
Your role will be varied in our school. You will complete all administrative tasks and interact with our children on a daily basis, so a child-centred approach is key for this role.
As our school administrator, you will provide full administrative support to the school and its day-to-day needs, ensuring compliance across all record-keeping and administrative tasks associated with running the education provisions efficiently and meeting the required standards. You will also have the opportunity to act as the school's Health and Safety Representative, liaising with contractors and ensuring services are kept up to date.
This role also includes reception and general enquiries, supporting the head teacher with diary management, and welcoming and greeting visitors to our school.
You will be part of the wider network of school business administrators, where you will receive support from your peers and a full induction from our school business manager.
Sky Vale School is a brand-new school opening in November 2025, looking after children and young people aged 6-18 years, offering a therapeutic, bespoke learning package, seeking the best outcomes for our young people.
This beautiful school is in the heart of the Mendips, showing nature at its best. The school will be in the heart of the community.
This a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week
You will be working Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pmp>
Term Time: this goes in line with Bristol local authority
The contracted hours are 195 teaching days plus 10 training days during the holidays
As per all education roles, your Holidays must be taken during the school holidays and not during term time.
