A leading education provider in Rotherham is seeking a School Business Administrator to join their brand-new school, River Valley. This full-time role involves diverse administrative tasks, daily interaction with students, and managing safety protocols. We are looking for a School Business Administrator to join our education administration team. This role will be based in our Brand-new school, River Valley, based in Rotherham.
Your role will be varied in our school. You will complete all administrative tasks and interact with our children on a daily basis, so a child-centred approach is key for this role.
As our school administrator, you will provide full administrative support to the school and its day-to-day needs, ensuring compliance across all record-keeping and administrative tasks associated with running the education provisions efficiently and meeting the required standards. You will also have the opportunity to act as the school's Health and Safety Representative, liaising with contractors and ensuring services are kept up to date.
This role also includes reception and general enquiries, supporting the head teacher with diary management, and welcoming and greeting visitors to our school.
You will be part of the wider network of school business administrators, where you will receive support from your peers and a full induction from our Education Business Manager.
River Valley School is a brand-new school, looking after children and young people aged 6-18 years, offering a therapeutic, bespoke learning package, seeking the best outcomes for our young people.
This a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week.
You will be working Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Term Time: this goes in line with the local authority.
The contracted hours are 195 teaching days plus 10 training days during the holidays.
As per all education roles, your Holidays must be taken during the school holidays and not during term time.
