Hayward Hawk are delighted to be recruiting for a proactive and detail-focused Scheduler to join our client's busy operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth flow of customer orders through the business – from managing shortages to releasing orders to our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be organised, solution-driven, and able to communicate effectively with both internal departments and external suppliers. This is a full time, permanent, role with hybrid working.
Monitor and manage product shortages, ensuring timely resolution and communication across departments.
Release customer orders to the warehouse for picking, packing, and dispatch.
Coordinate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to resolve stock availability issues.
Maintain accurate order schedules within our ERP system, ensuring deadlines are met.
Work closely with customer service to provide order updates and expected lead times.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline scheduling and order flow processes.
Produce regular reports on shortages, delays, and scheduling performance.
Previous experience in a scheduling, planning, supply chain, or operations role (manufacturing/warehousing environment desirable).
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Strong communication skills, able to liaise confidently with internal teams and suppliers.
IT literate with experience using ERP/MRP systems (training provided) and good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
