Overview

Hayward Hawk are delighted to be recruiting for a proactive and detail-focused Scheduler to join our client's busy operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth flow of customer orders through the business – from managing shortages to releasing orders to our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be organised, solution-driven, and able to communicate effectively with both internal departments and external suppliers. This is a full time, permanent, role with hybrid working.

What You\'ll Do
  • Monitor and manage product shortages, ensuring timely resolution and communication across departments.

  • Release customer orders to the warehouse for picking, packing, and dispatch.

  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to resolve stock availability issues.

  • Maintain accurate order schedules within our ERP system, ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Work closely with customer service to provide order updates and expected lead times.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline scheduling and order flow processes.

  • Produce regular reports on shortages, delays, and scheduling performance.

What You\'ll Need
  • Previous experience in a scheduling, planning, supply chain, or operations role (manufacturing/warehousing environment desirable).

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

  • Strong communication skills, able to liaise confidently with internal teams and suppliers.

  • IT literate with experience using ERP/MRP systems (training provided) and good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
