Overview

Grampian Adult Weight Management and Diabetes Prevention, Operational Lead Dietitian

Hours: 18.5 Hours

We are looking for

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate skills in leadership, service redesign and transformation, work in partnership with others, maintain a patient‑focused approach, and have a genuine desire to work in the field of adult weight management and diabetes prevention.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to the redesigned adult weight management and diabetes pathways in Grampian.
  • Work jointly with the current dietetic lead for AWM services to support service redesign and transformation.
  • Collaborate with the wider health and social care teams to deliver services across the three Grampian partnerships and link with acute services where necessary.
  • Hold a small clinical caseload with interventions delivered as part of an MDT with psychology colleagues.
  • Contribute to a hybrid model of working with options for remote and office-based working.
  • Delivery of a high quality dietetic service and participation in undergraduate student training (B & C placements).
  • Engage with shared issues and initiatives such as clinical effectiveness, patient safety and patient-centredness.
  • Priorities include leadership, service redesign, partnership with teams, and maintaining a patient-focused approach.
Requirements and Working Arrangements
  • You must be a car driver, hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car as some travelling across Grampian might be required.
  • You will be required to work 5 of 7 days, which may include weekend working as required.
  • This post is suitable for a hybrid model of working with options for both remote and office-based working.
