Job description

We're on the lookout for a proactive and strategic Salesforce Business Partner to join our team. You'll ensure our Salesforce platform aligns seamlessly with our business objectives, helping us maximise value across the organisation. Acting as the vital link between stakeholders and technical teams, you'll foster understanding, collaboration, and the successful implementation of Salesforce solutions.

You'll work closely with subject matter experts from various departments to gather, analyse, and document requirements, translating them into a clear change roadmap. Supporting and leading a team of three Salesforce Administrators, you'll collaborate with our development team to deliver impactful solutions. We're seeking someone with a solid Salesforce background, ideally with experience as an administrator or developer, who's eager to evolve into a more strategic, business-focused role.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business units to understand their Salesforce needs and challenges.
  • Gather, analyse, and document requirements to deliver scalable, user-friendly Salesforce solutions.
  • Support the planning, execution, and delivery of Salesforce projects, including updates and integrations.
  • Drive user adoption through training, documentation, and ongoing support.
  • Manage change implementation by communicating effectively and aligning stakeholder expectations.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within Salesforce.
  • Lead and develop a team of three Salesforce Administrators, fostering high performance.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce trends and best practices to recommend continuous improvements.

Due to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we’re able to effectively manage interest. Therefore, if you’re interested in joining us at AXA, please don’t hesitate to apply.

We know that some candidates may be discouraged from applying if they don't meet every requirement. If you’re excited by this job and the prospect of working at AXA but you’re not sure you tick every box, we’d still encourage you to apply.

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning Experience.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Solid project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security principles, and compliance standards within Salesforce.
  • Hands‑on experience with Salesforce administration and/or development is preferred.
  • Degree or equivalent in business, IT, or a related field, with relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Business Analyst, or Consultant) is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Salesforce Business Partner, Business Analyst, or similar role, with people management skills.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
