Job summary

A global IT services provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a Project Manager to oversee small to medium-sized projects. This role includes end-to-end project delivery, client engagement, and the management of project teams. The ideal candidate should possess project management experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft tools. The position is office-based for 2 days a week.

Project Manager

Location: Uxbridge, Sheffield, Manchester – 2 days a week in office.

The Project Manager resides within the Service Design & Delivery area of the EMEA Services Delivery function and specifically within the Project Management Office. Responsible for successfully delivering small to medium size projects and providing leadership to project teams. Manages scope, schedule, risks, issues, finances, resources, and governance reporting.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • End-to-end delivery of projects including scope, schedule, cost, risk management, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Delivery through entire project lifecycle using Insight methodologies.
  • Measure performance and maintain documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders.
  • Execute contract change control.
  • Deliver projects to budget and revenue targets.
  • Manage resources and mentor team members.
  • Suggest continuous improvements.
  • Support tactical sales and presales efforts.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as requested.
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential:
  • Degree level education or equivalent experience.
  • High level of written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Project tools.
  • Project management experience and knowledge.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to handle complexity and non-routine issues.
Desirable:
  • Business/IT qualifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP).
  • Project Management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI).
  • Experience in globally diverse environments.
  • Previous experience with IT Resellers.
  • Understanding of sales processes and ability to advance opportunities.
