This is a crucial role within the internal function of a well-established, people-driven distributor of specialist building products. As a Sales Supervisor, you will oversee and lead a team of 6 internal sales representatives to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. Your responsibilities include providing guidance, coaching, and training to the sales team, monitoring their performance, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with departments such as Marketing and Operations to ensure the overall success of the sales department.
The product range includes roofing materials, flashings, screws & fixings, steel purlins, cladding, decking, guttering, and fencing. You and your team will interact with trade customers and builders' merchant customers. The role is based at the branch in East Sussex, reporting to the branch manager.

Our client seeks an individual with the ability to coach, lead, and influence a team of enthusiastic internal salespeople. Experience in sales management, either internal or external, is desirable. Current assistant managers or sales office managers seeking greater responsibility are encouraged to apply. A background in building products is sufficient. You must be able to access the East Sussex branch within 45 minutes, ideally residing in BN, TN, or RH postcodes. The ideal candidate will have energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to empathize with a younger sales team.
