Exciting new opportunity to join an established and highly successful nutrition team. This role focuses on the adult nutrition portfolio, supporting healthcare professionals across acute and community settings. You will drive uptake of key products through effective account management, building strong clinical relationships and shaping advocates who have confidence in the nutrition range.

This role is ideal for candidates with healthcare or scientific backgrounds who have experience in field sales, or for commercially minded dieticians seeking to step into a commercial role for the first time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieving sales and activity targets.
  • Work the defined region to identify business potential and prioritise key accounts across hospitals and community care.
  • Map the nutrition landscape and patient journey within each account, understanding how decisions are made across the local health economy.
  • Develop strong relationships with dieticians, consultants, community nurses, district nurses, nurse practitioners, GPs and pharmacists.
  • Drive product awareness, education and service adoption through high quality customer interactions.
  • Create an Annual Business Plan for each priority account with clear goals, opportunities and strategic objectives.
  • Deliver your account plans with measurable outcomes, adjusting tactics in line with performance and customer feedback.
  • Build and nurture customer advocates to increase trust and confidence in the nutrition portfolio.
  • Maintain a high level of product, clinical and disease area knowledge, ensuring you can interpret and discuss scientific information confidently with customers.
  • Understand and navigate local access pathways and the wider decision making environment.
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues as needed to support accounts and achieve agreed objectives.

Qualifications

Experience Required
  • Healthcare or scientific background preferred.
  • Experience in field sales and key account management from pharmaceutical or medical devices is highly desirable.
  • Sound understanding of the primary care and community environment is highly desirable.
  • Nutrition expertise or clinical experience is desirable.
  • Strong relationship building capability with a will to win and the mindset needed to develop and grow in the role.
  • A clear ambition to succeed and contribute to a high performing team.
  • Self-awareness and a positive approach to learning.
