Title: Sales Order Processor
Salary: £28,000 - £29,000 per annum
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Location: Narborough, Leicestershire

VH Talent is delighted to be partnering with our client to recruit a dedicated Sales Order Processor. This is a key role within the business, responsible for managing the full order lifecycle, from initial enquiry and quotation, through to processing, fulfilment and aftercare. You'll ensure every customer receives a seamless, efficient and professional service.

We're looking for a confident, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a customer-focused environment, enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in delivering excellent support.

The Sales Order Processor:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email and live chat
  • Prepare accurate quotations, ensuring all specifications and measurements are correctly captured
  • Process customer orders efficiently using internal systems
  • Liaise with suppliers, couriers and internal departments to ensure orders are delivered on time and meet service level agreements
  • Track and update customers on order progress
  • Manage customer queries and complaints, offering appropriate solutions and processing refunds when required
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support wider administrative duties as needed
You'll Need:
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in sales order processing, customer service, B2B or B2C environments (advantageous but not essential)
  • Solid administrative skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when recording order information
  • Confident problem-solver with the ability to use initiative
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
