Overview

We have a Sales Order Administrator role available within TATA Steel's Shotton works. The department specialises in roofing and cladding solutions to a range of customers. This role is ideal for someone with strong IT literacy skills and is proactive, a clear communicator and holds good attention to detail.

TATA Steel, Shotton Works, Deeside CH5 2NH

Remuneration and Contract

Rate: £24,000

Contract length: 6 months - 33 days holiday

Shift Patterns

8:30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, 08:30am - 4pm Friday (37.5h, 5 days a week). 3 days on site; Mondays and Fridays can work from home. First 4 weeks would need to be on site for training.

ASAP (within 1-2 weeks)

Responsibilities
  • Data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work as part of a team; being a team player is essential.
  • SAP experience would be a plus; the role will move to SAP.
  • Highly admin-focused with good organizational skills.
  • Fast learner; training will be provided.
Essential requirements
  • Good IT literacy, especially with MS Office.
  • Previous experience within an office environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Clear and concise telephone manner.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Great eye for detail.
  • Previous data/order entry experience (low and high volume).
Desirable requirements
  • Driving licence and use of a car.
  • SAP experience.
