Job Description

As a PAX Solutions Sales Manager at Vanderlande, your primary responsibility is to drive the expansion of our market position within the dynamic and competitive airport and passenger handling solutions sector. You will collaborate with world-leading airports and aviation clients, assisting them in optimizing their passenger flow, enhancing operational efficiency, and achieving their strategic business goals. Your core mission is to identify, cultivate, and secure new projects centered around Vanderlande's innovative PAX Solutions portfolio. This involves developing and executing a winning market development strategy in close collaboration with our sales engineering, project management, and product development teams.

The main functions/task in your position will be:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and partners.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals that demonstrate the company's value proposition.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Engineering team and other departments to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business goals.

Your profile

  • Strong analytical skills, you are able to create concept solutions based on your analysis and understanding of the customer’s logistic processes
  • Strong organizational skills, including well-developed influencing skills, both internal as external
  • Bachelor in Engineering-related degree;
  • More than 10 years of commercial working experience, preferably with high-value engineered solutions.
  • Working experience in a relevant industry segment (Airports & Parcel or Baggage Handling Solutions) is required.
  • Senior, business acumen and a strong sales spirit;
  • Experience using common business software
  • Willingness to travel with short notice;
  • Ability to work within an international work environment and amongst different cultures.

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 6.000 - € 7.400 per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
