This is a proactive and reactive Event Sales Executive role, combining account management and business development responsibilities within the national events industry. The primary goal is to secure and convert new and repeat business, meeting or exceeding financial revenue targets across multiple streams, including venue hire, food and beverage, production, and accommodation.
We are looking for a driven, client-focused sales professional with a genuine passion for the events industry. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of proven sales experience, ideally gained within the venue, events, service, or hospitality sectors. You should be a collaborative team player with a focus on achieving group targets and a proactive approach to managing competing priorities. Strong negotiation and influencing skills, coupled with the ability to build lasting client relationships and deliver results in a competitive market, are essential.
You will need a commercially astute mindset with a clear understanding of business profitability and strategic goals. Excellent communication skills are also key, whether in verbal, written, or presentation formats. Due to the national scope of this Event Sales Executive role, a full, clean driving license and access to a vehicle are required.
