Sales Manager - Engineering
£30,000 - £37,000 plus bonus incentive/car/phone/laptop

Responsibilities
- Develop account management skills in a company with engineering/manufacturing experience.
- Conduct outbound development calls and client site project visits, starting with lapsed clients to reconnect and reintroduce the business.
- Work through a sales and lead database to build new business opportunities and visit new clients; assist with quotations and samples.
- Price individual quotations for customers, follow up on enquiries and quotations for new business.
- Manage samples sent to customers for product review; provide support as part of a possible hybrid working arrangement.
- Collaborate with internal teams (customer service and quality) as needed.
- Provide administration support for field account managers.
- Focus on customer service and relationship building rather than hard selling.
- Make outbound calls to prospective clients that have previously enquired about the company products.
- Work with Sales Managers to refine sales development industry skills and build relationships with clients, updating them with new ideas and other business areas.
- Seek progression within the expanding company and participate in development opportunities.
Qualifications
- An articulate, professional phone manner
- Great customer service ideally within an engineering environment
- Proven engineering sales development background
- A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
