Job description

To lead, manage and evaluate all day‑to‑day sales activities, building strong and lasting relationships with both new and existing customers while driving profitable, sustainable growth. This role will also focus on identifying, developing and delivering new business opportunities across a range of channels, including Food Service, Fast Food, Wholesale, Retail and Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  1. Build, manage and strengthen relationships with new and existing customers across all functions, including commercial, marketing, product development, technical and supply chain.
  2. Identify opportunities to grow existing business and enhance overall profitability.
  3. Source, develop and convert new profitable business opportunities across new channels (e.g., fast food, wholesale, manufacturing) and new customer bases.
  4. Maintain an up‑to‑date and comprehensive weekly pipeline of new business prospects.
  5. Utilise market data and insights to optimise current product performance and identify opportunities for new product development.
  6. Develop new products aligned with factory capabilities and strategic business objectives.
  7. Negotiate and deliver selling prices, promotional activity, price increases and marketing plans.
  8. Ensure strategic account development plans are in place to achieve shared objectives, joint business plans and key performance indicators.
  9. Set accurate weekly, monthly and annual forecasts for each customer based on historical performance and realistic growth targets.
  10. Monitor sales performance against budget, identify significant variances and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  11. Manage the delivery of new product launches, promotions and marketing initiatives on time and within budget.
  12. Prepare and conduct professional business review presentations, ensuring regular review meetings are held with every key account.
  13. Produce clear and timely meeting reports for each customer and ensure all agreed actions are completed in full and on schedule.
  14. Monitor customers' credit limits and account status at all times, taking responsibility to avoid unnecessary financial risk or exposure.
  15. Provide effective administrative and organisational support to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of all sales activities.
