Overview

Job Title: Sales Manager - Full Time Permanent

Location: Watton, Norfolk (Hybrid working available)

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Reports To: Head of Sales

Position 1 Recruitment are working with a leading manufacturer based in Watton, who are recruiting for a skilled Sales Manager to help drive sales growth and support key customer accounts.

You will work closely with internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Projects, Proposals) to deliver technically accurate and commercially sound bids, while managing client relationships and developing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage technical bids with support from internal teams
  • Develop and grow key accounts and regional sales
  • Manage existing client relationships while identifying new opportunities
  • Lead commercial negotiations and contract variations
  • Ensure timely and compliant bid submissions
  • Maintain and analyse CRM data
  • Attend client meetings (in-person or virtual) as needed
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Sales Management, Business Development, or Account Management
  • Background in technical/industrial sales (Oil, Gas, or Petrochemical sector preferred)
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to travel
