Job Title: Generator (Power) Sales Manager

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Swinton, Manchester

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:00 am to 6.00 pm, with an unpaid lunch break of half an hour.

Salary: £50,000.00 to £70,000.00 per annum depending on experience and skills.

About the Company

Within the Falcon Group is Falcon Tower Crane Services, the largest tower crane supplier in the UK and one of the largest in the world with just under 450 tower cranes nationwide. Falcon Power Generation with 400 generators nationwide along with Falcon Freight who operate a fleet of 37 HGV vehicles with a selection of units supporting artic and rigid HIAB cranes.

Falcon Power Generation runs a modern fleet of just under 400 Stage IIIA & Stage V compliant sets, Hybrid battery solutions, PUNCH FLYBRID, and Northvolt Voltpack's, plus 1,000, 2,000, and 3,000 litre fuel tanks. Together with a large range of ancillary items such as distribution boards and cabling. In addition, the company has its own crane mounted trucks for ideal delivery and placement.

With its head office based in Worsley, and other locations to include Newport, Bedfordshire and Norfolk, Falcon Power are ideally placed as a national distributor.

We are looking for a full-time experienced Generator Sales Manager with industry-specific technical expertise, to be based in Swinton, Manchester.

Comprehensive training and continual support to help you excel in the role will be provided.

The Role

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for proactively searching and promoting new business opportunities, provide weekly call/quote reports, arranging face to face proposals and sending introduction letters to prospective customers. You will be required to work to Falcon's procedure and take responsibility of the sales processing from acceptance of order to delivery. Also to promote and contribute to the growth of this area of the Power Division.

What We're Looking For
Essential Experience & Qualifications
  • Full Clean Driving Licence.
  • Experience in diesel generator hire and sales, additional experience in Hybrid battery solutions, PUNCH FLYBRID and Northvolt Voltpack's would be highly advantageous.
  • 2 or more years' experience on a sale or Business Development Manager Role.
