Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Present detailed sales proposals and manage projects through PPAP and ISIR processes.
  • Collaborate with internal design and production teams to deliver prototyping and sample services.
  • Act as the voice of the customer to influence the company business plan.

Business Development Manager / Sales Manager (Engineering / Automotive) Salary : £55,000 – £60,000 per annum + Bonus + Company Car Location : North West (Ideally Commutable from Lancashire / Greater Manchester, or at least based in the North of the UK)

About the Role A prominent UK manufacturer of industrial consumables is seeking a Business Development Manager / Sales Manager to join their senior team. This company specializes in bespoke material conversions and technical adhesive products, serving a diverse range of manufacturing sectors with a focus on automotive OEMs.

You will report to the Managing Director and take responsibility for both high value account management and new business acquisition. This role requires a technical approach to selling, where you will solve design and process problems for engineers and purchasing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline using research and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Identify new applications for bespoke products within the automotive supply chain.
