Sales Manager
Location: Waterloo (3 days a week in the office)
Salary: £45,000 base + commission
Reports to: VP Sales
Role Overview
The Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding market presence. This position requires a proactive, consultative salesperson who can build their own pipeline from scratch, run detailed platform demonstrations, develop tailored proposals, and close new business end-to-end. You will contribute to strategic sales planning while working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term success of new clients.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Achieve annual new business revenue targets through proactive outreach and full sales-cycle management.
- Generate leads, book demos, and convert opportunities into closed deals.
- Design and execute a strategic business plan in collaboration with the VP Sales.
- Build strong, long-lasting client relationships through solution-led selling.
- Deliver sales reports, forecasts, and activity metrics including calls, meetings, proposals, and demos.
Market Development
- Identify new markets, opportunities, and industry shifts.
- Maintain awareness of product developments and competitor activity.
- Provide insight and feedback from the market to support ongoing product innovation.
Sales Process & Tools
- Conduct detailed platform demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Create tailored proposals with support from the customer success team.
- Manage pipeline and outreach activity via HubSpot, Hunter.io, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Deliver accurate quotes and manage all stages of the sales process from prospecting to close.
Internal Collaboration
- Partner with the customer success team to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
- Build strong relationships across all business functions to enhance collaboration and support commercial growth.
- Contribute new ideas and insights that support business and platform development.
Professional Development
- Maintain continuous personal development by attending networking events, conferences, and industry seminars.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven success as a Sales Manager or similar role, with a track record of exceeding targets.
- 3-4 years enterprise sales experience within SaaS or technology.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
