Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Chinese-speaking Sales Executive role in a UK-based food and beverage company. It is a rapidly expanding importer, wholesaler, and distributor headquartered in Chester, providing a wide range of frozen and ambient foods, beverages, and kitchen essentials to both the food service sector and retail market. The sales executive will be responsible for driving product and service sales while ensuring all activities align with legal requirements and recognized standards for food safety and quality.

Job Requirements
  • Proven experience in sales or customer service roles
  • Background in wholesale trade is considered an advantage
  • Familiarity with Japanese, Asian, or ethnic food products is beneficial
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, for data entry and communication
  • Willingness to undergo training as required

Job Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell products and services in alignment with defined sales targets
  • Grow sales with existing clients by building strong, trust-based relationships through clear communication and integrity
  • Attract new customers and expand business by effectively showcasing product offerings
  • Maintain regular account oversight to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Create and manage customized pricing and product lists tailored to individual customer needs
  • Accurately process customer orders in a timely manner
  • Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate with internal teams such as Accounts, Transport, Warehouse, and Technical
  • Communicate effectively across departments to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled
  • Collaborate with Logistics to ensure smooth delivery and exceptional customer service
  • Manage returns, complaints, and claims by working with relevant departments to resolve issues promptly
  • Partner with Accounts to address customer credit limit and payment queries
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge and enthusiasm to enhance customer experience
  • Maintain high standards of administrative accuracy and meet customer service level agreements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation
  • Carry out additional tasks as requested by management to support business operations
