Car Sales Executive

Location: Hull
Salary: £20,000 basic per annum + uncapped commission + company car, OTE £50,000+
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm; Saturdays 8.30am to 5pm with a day off in the week; Alternate Sundays 10am to 4pm.

Role
  • Guide customers through the entire vehicle purchasing journey—from initial inquiry to final handover—offering tailored advice and securing the best market deals.
  • Arrange test drives, showcase vehicle features, explain optional extras (financing, insurance, warranties), and upsell add‑on products.
  • Generate and qualify leads, proactively prospecting potential customers via phone, email, and showroom enquiries.
  • Communicate effectively in a fast‑paced showroom environment, ensuring high levels of organisation to manage appointments and follow‑ups.
  • Build trust and long‑term rapport with customers through active listening, empathy, and responsive support.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in car sales; dealership background preferred but not essential.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Resilience and target‑driven mindset, with the ability to thrive in high‑pressure, commission‑based environments.
  • Highly organised, adept at multitasking, follow‑ups, and managing a pipeline of leads.
