Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office — Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, ideally produced from AutoCAD.
  • Ability to use SAGE 200 or similar.

  • Act as the initial point of contact for customers, understanding their needs.
  • Respond to customer enquiries by email or phone.
  • Develop bespoke layouts, pricing and quotations.
  • Provide technical product guidance and pre-sales support.
  • Coordinate orders from enquiry to completion.

Overview

Role: After Sales Engineer

Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 dependant on experience (DOE)

Hours: Mon - Thurs 7:30am - 16:00pm; Fri 7:30am - 13:00pm

Location: Worcester, West Midlands

Responsibilities
  • Act as an initial point of contact for customers, understanding their needs over the phone or in person
  • Respond to customer enquiries by email or phone
  • Develop bespoke layouts, pricing and quotations, ensuring all quotes are accurate and clear
  • Provide technical product guidance and pre-sales support, maintaining a strong understanding of products
  • Coordinate orders from enquiry to completion, ensuring customers are contacted throughout
  • Support business growth by identifying new opportunities, maintaining accurate records of quotes/data, and attending customer or site visits when required
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Strong attention to detail and work ethic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office — Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to read technical drawings, ideally produced from AutoCAD
  • Ability to use SAGE 200 or similar
