Technical Sales Representative - Cutting Tools  – Territory: Scotland (Home-Based)  – Salary: £51,000 Basic + Uncapped Bonus  – Car Options: Company Car (including EV options) or Allowance

Join a leading cutting tool supplier and drive solution-led sales into Scotland's thriving Oil & Gas and general engineering sectors. We are seeking a highly driven, technically credible Technical Sales Representative to take ownership of a key territory - covering Scotland - with a focus on developing new business and building long-term partnerships in the cutting tools market.

What You'll Be Doing

• 60% New Business Development - actively identifying and winning new accounts across the Oil & Gas and general engineering sectors.
• 40% Account Management - nurturing and growing existing customer relationships.
• Providing technical advice and solution-based selling of high-performance cutting tools and related tooling systems.
• Working closely with applications engineers and technical teams to deliver the right solution to each customer.
• Home-based role with regular travel across Scotland to customer sites.

Who We're Looking For

• Proven technical sales experience within the cutting tool industry - carbide tooling, indexable inserts, drills, milling tools, etc.
• Confident in solution-led sales - understanding customer needs and specifying appropriate tooling solutions.
• Strong understanding of machining processes in oil & gas, general engineering, or similar sectors.
• Motivated self-starter, confident working remotely and independently.
• Based in Scotland, with full UK driving licence.
• Please note: We can only consider applicants with cutting tool industry experience due to the technical nature of this role.
