Location: Wantage, Oxfordshire (Hybrid)

Compensation: Up to £32,000 basic with £10,800 commission / Uncapped

We supply enterprise‑level Wi‑Fi, Point‑to‑Point and security technologies to a very hungry market. The products and services we sell are always in high demand.

Responsibilities
  • Forecast reporting and pipeline management
  • Assist Sales Support with quotes and orders
  • Support the team in managing existing leads, prospects and accounts
  • Generate new business – cold & warm calling
  • Follow up on marketing activities
  • Maintain CRM
  • Upsell and grow accounts
  • Follow industry developments and market trends
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of our vendor technologies
  • Execute the company’s sales strategies and achieve sales quota by identifying opportunities through account prospecting and profiling
  • Assess customer needs and present appropriate sales solutions to help customers recognise technological and business needs for new products
  • Provide effective sales presentations / product demonstrations to prospective client management, including hosting company site visits if necessary; work with new company channel partners
  • Communicate at every level within the organisation, both externally and internally
  • Produce highest standard written and verbal presentations
  • Prepare and ensure accurate sales order paperwork
  • Manage the order process through internal acceptance procedures (Sales, Ordering, outsourced installation departments)
  • Provide the sales management team with accurate reporting of activities (weekly & monthly forecasts, pipeline status, prospecting results)
  • Account map into other existing accounts and potential customers, understand organisational structure and executive relationships, and align with right decision makers
  • Provide routine updates to the sales database with account activity and status
  • Cross‑sell the team’s / company’s products into resellers / new accounts to increase revenue spend
  • Maintain thorough ongoing knowledge of new company products and technology, as well as industry trends
  • Provide ad hoc reports and perform assigned projects as needed
  • Monitor specific sectors and inform Sales & Marketing Director about legal, cultural and economic conditions that might affect operations
Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven track record of B2B channel account management and business development, minimum 3 years in ICT sales; product distribution or reseller/system integrator experience preferred
  • Strong business acumen; financially astute and capable of working out margin percentages and profitability
  • Experience using NetSuite
  • Ability to listen and articulate effectively
  • Content to work in a semi‑rural environment
  • Comfortable conversing with all staff levels from Director to Junior
  • Flexible working hours, willing to work longer hours when required
  • Travel as necessary
  • Ability to run standard reports as and when required
